Champasak DMN Meeting
15 March 2022, Champasak Department of Information, Culture and Tourism (DICT) hosted the Champasak DMN (Destination Management Network) Meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Mr Sounh Manivong, Project Director, Second GMS Tourism Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth Project (TIIGP 2) and Ms Phonemaly Inthaphome, Director General, Tourism Development Department, Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism (DICT) and TIIGP 2 Project Manager.
The purpose of the meeting was to present Champasak Provincial Governor Agreement on Champasak DMN Board, Members and Secretariat Establishment and develop Champasak DMN Action Plan 2022.
Experience of Champasak DMN activities implementation by presented by Mr Soulichanh Sombathdouang, Head of Tourism Section, Champasak DICT, followed by Champasak Provincial Governor Agreement on Champasak DMN Board, Members and Secretariat Establishment by Mr Souliya Sihapanya, Deputy Head of Tourism Section, Champasak DICT
Second GMS Tourism Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth Project (TIIGP 2) activities were presented by Mr Vila Chanthavong, Project Consultant. Participants provided inputs on project infrastructure and tourist facilities investment and ASEAN Tourism Standards implementation, including

- ASEAN Public Toilet Standard
- ASEAN Clean Tourist City Standard
- ASEAN Green Hotel Standard
- ASEAN Spa Service Standard

- ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award (ASTA)
Champasak DMN Action Plan 2022 was drafted by getting inputs from participants in various topics, including tourism marketing, product development, tourism management and skill development.
